P3 served as development consultant, wrote the city’s urban renewal plan, and supported creation of its urban renewal agency. The program focused on street and road improvements and flooding remediation.
A documented funding milestone
The July 30, 2020 announcement records $4,740,000 in tax-exempt Urban Renewal Revenue Bonds sold by the Clarksdale Quality of Life Commission. The partnership meeting photograph belongs to this planning and financing initiative, which is separate from the city’s Wingstop redevelopment.
