U.S. Brown Coroner’s Office
A dedicated 9,060-square-foot facility supporting the essential work of the county coroner.

Project overview
Part of P3’s Jefferson County facilities program, the Coroner’s Office provides purpose-built space for county services. Its steel-framed design includes a standing-seam roof and a covered pedestrian approach.
Purpose-built county infrastructure
The 9,060-square-foot building was designed with a steel frame, a sloped standing-seam metal roof, and a covered walkway along the north side. Its architectural gallery shows the entrance, circulation, exterior form, and sheltered pedestrian spaces.
Three facilities, one coordinated program
The Coroner’s Office was developed alongside the Veterans Services Office and Health Unit. P3’s September 30, 2020 announcement records $14 million of capital delivered for the three-facility program in 84 days; these are program-wide historical figures.
